Hitmen defenseman a Colonial in Fall of '09
February 11, 2009

Wayne, NJ - The Jersey Hitmen are proud to announce that defenseman, Brendan Jamison, has accepted a scholarship to play at Robert Morris University for the fall of 2009. Jamison becomes the fifth Hitman to commit to college, fourth division one, this season following captain Ryan Craig (Niagara University), Alex Gallen (Mercyhurst College), Kevin Clare (Michigan University) and assistant captain Mike Muhs (SUNY-Fredonia).

Hailing from Allison Park, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Jamison was a natural fit for RMU (who plays out of the CHA). "Brendan is a big, strong skating, puck moving defenseman," commented head coach Toby Harris. "He is defensively sound, and is unbeatable 1 on 1. He also has an uncanny knack for blocking shots and jumping up into the play offensively."  Coach Harris went on to say, "Robert Morris is getting a great defenseman, but more importantly, a great person. He will certainly help the Colonials battle for a CHA championship in the near future."

Jamison's final college choices came down to Clarkson, the University of Vermont and Robert Morris University.
