Hitmen - EJHL champion and USA National finalist again

Wayne, NJ - After beating the NH Jr Monarchs in the EJHL championship for a second straight year, the Hitmen faced off against the Monarchs again in the Tier III Jr A championship. Just like 2008, the script in 2009 ended just the same with the triumph of a Gary Dinnen Cup and the agony of a US national championship loss.

On the bright side of the coin the season ended with a bang both as a team and individually as 2009 Quinnipiac recruit, Jeremy Langlois, earned both EJHL offensive player of the year and the prestigious EJHL player of the year honors. Along with Langlois, two year starting goaltender, Jon Morrow, was named EJHL goaltender of the year and University of Vermont 2011 recruit, Colin Markison, earned EJHL play-off MVP honors.

With ten returning players, a southern division title and EJHL title under their belt, the Hitmen will look to restock and reload for another Gary Dineen Cup defense. On April 25th and 26th the Hitmen will host their spring evaluation camp at their home arena, the Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ. Please visit the tryout page for details.
