The Hitmen U-19 team captured its 20th victory of the season this past Sunday while salvaging a split with the visiting Clifton Park Dynamo. The victory has been elusive for the Hitmen who have been entrenched in nearly a month long slump due to injuries, illnesses and alike. The boys took to the ice this weekend down only one injured player, the closest to a full roster they have seen since the 1st weekend of December, and seemed to regain some of their early season spark.

Hooksett, NH - In the perennial EJHL mid winter all star classic, the Northern Division team came out flying from the opening faceoff and put heavy pressure on the Southern Division net. For the first twenty-two minutes of the half, the North kept the play in the South zone, however, goaltender Jon Morrow (Jersey Hitmen) and defenseman Nick Grasso (New York Apple Core) successfully kept the North off the board. The Green Mountain Glades duo of Peter Massar and Riley Wetmore looked to take the early lead, but were consistently denied.

The Hitmen also added two very important pieces to the puzzle welcoming two ex-Hitmen back into the fray, Ryan Mckiernan and Corey Callen. Mckiernan, back from the USHL, will add an offensive spark from the blue line along with veteran presence and Callen, back from Oswego State, will add grit and a 'slippery' offensive element up front.
