Martan Yelle (98) had an amazing week in the Hitmen three victories. Yelle scored 3 times (including the game winner Sunday) & added two assists for a five point week.  

Defenseman of the Week

Brett Callahan, Jersey Hitmen

Brett Callahan, had a great week. In the Hitmen 5-4 win at Connecticut on Wednesday, Callahan sparked the Hitmen comeback as he scored a PPG, then scored the first of 3 third period goals. He also hit the scoresheet with 2 assists in the Hitmen sweep of Rochester over the weekend.

Goalie of the Week

Justin Ferguson, Islanders Hockey Club

Ferguson, the top goalie in the NCDC, just keeps getting better.  The Dartmouth recruit picked up his 14th and 15th wins of the season stopping 32 of 33 downing the Jr Bruins and followed it up kicking out 14 of 15 against the Boston Bandits before being relieved in the 3rd period.  Coach Tremblay has called him the "best goaltender" I have ever coached.  Not bad when you are being compared to the likes of Joe Exter, Brian Foster, James Mello and Brian Billet to name just a few of the 15+ who have gone on to be Division One goaltenders!
