Wayne, NJ - It has been a season full of highlights for Tanner Palocsik and he can add another to that list, a division one commitment. As Santa's sleigh departed Pittsburgh, Palocsik, made it official, committing to Dartmouth College for the fall of '20.

"We could not be more excited for Tanner," commented coach Toby Harris. "Tanner comes from a very strong, very well run Pittsburgh Penguins elite program. He came to main camp this past summer in great shape and really impressed the coaching staff. You could tell right from the start that he could skate, had great instincts and was well coached. Couple that with an amazing recommendation from Pens 18U head coach (and dad of current Hitmen NCDC all-star Connor Quinn), Kevin Quinn, and we jumped to sign Tanner!"

In 31 games this season, Palocsik, has racked up a 5-10-15 scoring line and was just recently named to the NCDC all-star game taking place Monday, January 15th at Merrimack College. Palocsik becomes the ninth NCAA division one committed player to suit up for the Hitmen this season and will join current teammate, and top 3 NCDC scorer, Jeff Losurdo in the Ivy league.

Dartmouth, which is located in Hanover, NH, competes in the NCAA’s ECAC Hockey conference along with Harvard, Quinnipiac, Yale, St. Lawrence, Clarkson, Cornell, Colgate, Princeton, RPI, Brown and Union.
