The Reiss family, owners of the Ice Vault Arena and president of hockey operations, Jim Hunt are pleased to announce the addition of Brooke Ammerman Reimer as the Director of girl’s hockey and Jochen “Joker” Reimer as Director of goaltending development for youth & junior hockey.

Brooke, a native of Rivervale, NJ, is a two-time NCAA national champion with the Wisconsin Badgers finishing her collegiate career with 215 points. She captured a gold medal as a member of team USA in 2008 and was invited to the Olympic tryouts for both 2010 & 2014. Brooke played professionally with the New York Riveters and overseas in Germany. She has been coaching since 2014 and currently runs the Ammerman Hockey School.

Joker recently retired after a distinguished 18-year professional career. He was a member of the German National team from 2010-2015 and represented his country in the 2011 IIHF World Championships. During his 14 years in one of the top leagues in Europe (DEL), Joker amassed over 400 games and was twice named DEL goalie of the year.

“Adding Brooke and Joker to our staff addresses two vital areas. Focusing on advancing girl’s participation in our youth program and improving the critical position of goaltending are two areas we have been attempting to shore up for several years. Just as important as advancing those groups is the fact that we are doing so with a husband-and-wife team which is consistent with the culture of our entire facility” said Hunt. “Not only are we adding two highly regarded professionals in their respective fields, but we are also welcoming a new hockey family. In the end, that’s just as important as what they bring on the ice.”
