The Jersey Hitmen, a Tier 1 AAA hockey organization, are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Coach with the 13u Bantam Minor (2008)  hockey team for the upcoming 2021-22 season.  Candidates should have previous coaching experience at the youth levels and possess an up to date USA Hockey coaching certification.  Prior college and/or junior hockey experience is preferred, but not required for the position. Prospective candidates will be expected to provide on-ice instruction, be able to assist in practice plan design and should be capable of running 20 to 30 minute dryland training sessions. Attending team practices (2 or 3x a week) and approximately 50 games (includes 4 tournaments) would be required. Team practices would run from mid-May through early July, then resume in early September and finish the week of March 21st. The position includes a competitive stipend, travel reimbursement , Jersey Hitmen coaching apparel/equipment and the potential for other coaching opportunities within the Hitmen organization.
