The Jersey Hitmen NCDC team promoted Matt Imbriano (Wayne, N.J.) from the 18-U team. Imbriano is the captain of the 18-U Hitmen and leads them in scoring with 28 points in 33 games. He’s been a member of the Hitmen family since the 14-U minor level.

Imbriano dressed for the Hitmen Tier II team on Sunday (12/19) when they played the Utica Jr. Comets. The Hitmen defeated Utica, 4-0, propelling themselves into first place in the entire NCDC with a record of 18-7-2.

Matt Hughes and Hollis Humphries provided the 18-U Hitmen with scoring this weekend when they swept the PAL Islanders in USPHL league play. Hughes scored a hat-trick and led the Hitmen to a 4-3 victory on Friday night. Then on Saturday, the Hitmen completed its sweep with a 6-3 win, and Humphries collected two goals in the game.

The Hitmen 18-U team travels to South Kent to partake in their showcase after Christmas break beginning January 7th.
