After a thorough brand analysis, owner, Bobby Reiss has authorized a significant capital investment in the organization’s 15, 16U and 18U levels. Included in that investment will be the return of Anthony Yelovich to serve as the head coach of the 16U team, retaining Dan Henningson as the head coach of the 18U team both Dan & Anthony will assist each other along with Gary Shpungin, Ryan Lacorte and Mike Smith. In addition the Hitmen are pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew Frey as the head coach of the 15-team assisted by Dan Frey. Nick Perri has been promoted to assistant general manager of player procurement. Nick will continue to coordinate all player personnel for the Hitmen’s junior levels while adding midget and youth procurement to his responsibilities.

The coaching staffs will be pursuing the delicate balance between significant player development at this critical age and the challenge of fielding teams competitive in an era where rankings are a significant factor. To accomplish that objective, the on-ice staff will work closely with full time strength & conditioning coach, Gerry Defillipo to ensure that student-athletes are maximizing their performance potential through proper strength & flexibility training and provide their teams with a competitive schedule that includes high profile showcases against nationally ranked teams. Teams will participate in full ice team practices throughout the season in addition to specific positional training sessions. Joker Reimer will continue to serve as the goaltending coach for the organization.

In addition to a significant investment in coaching & support staff, two full time locker rooms will be built at the Ice Vault to house the Hitmen standing 16U & 18U midget teams.
