Wayne, NJ – The Jersey Hitmen are proud to announce Dean Toskos’ commitment to play Division 1 hockey at Holy Cross University.   Toskos, a 2006 birth year, has progressed through all levels of the Hitmen organization starting as a Mite with the Bandits program to today, being an Assistant Captain with the Hitmen 18U team.

Head Coach Dan Henningson comments on Dean’s signing, “On behalf of the entire Hitmen organization, I am thrilled for Dean and his family on his commitment to play for Holy Cross.   It’s amazing to see Dean’s development and the work he has put in on and off the ice throughout the years.   Coach Riga is a former coach of mine and Dean Toskos is a perfect match for Coach Riga and the Holy Cross Crusaders.  Holy Cross is getting a high character kid who’s a great student athlete who will not only be an asset on the ice and in the locker room, but to the Holy Cross community as a whole.”

The Jersey Hitmen 18U team currently sit 29th in the country with a record of 17-7-9.

The College of Holy Cross is a private Jesuit Liberal Arts school located in Worcester, Massachusetts.  Holy Cross plays in the Atlantic Hockey Conference and is led by their Head Coach Bill Riga.
