18U Sweep PAL Islanders

November 29th – The Jersey Hitmen 18U beat the PAL Islanders 8 to 2. Goaltender Ryan Glander backstopped the victory by stopping 16 of 18 shots on goal. Mat Kidney lead the offense with his first career hat-trick wearing a Hitmen uniform and additional goals were scored by Todd Goehring (2), Chris Mazzella and Walt Keiper.

November, 30th – The Jersey Hitmen 18U complete the sweep with a 3 to 2 victory. Goaltender Tyler Harmon stopped 14 of 16 shots on goal. The first period would end in a 0 to 0 tie and the teams exchange offensive chances but no one was able to capitalize on their limited chances. Hunter Garlasco would break open the scoring at the 6:16 mark of the second with the lone assist going to Alex Whelan. The second Hitmen goal would go to Alex Whelan at the 16:26 mark of the second with assists by Hunter Garlasco and James Callahan. The Hitmen would take the 2 to 0 lead into the third. The Islanders would score one before Casey Delorenzo would tip in the game winner off a blast from James Callahan with an additional assist by Danny Reidel.

The Hitmen 18U team head to Chicago this weekend with games vs. Penns Elite, Chicago Fury, Colorado Thunderbirds and St. Louis.
