18U – Big win vs. Comcast

November 2nd – The Jersey Hitmen 18U continue their winning streak with a 6 to 2 victory over the Comcast. Goaltender Tyler Harmon back stopped the victory by making 24 saves on 26 shots on goal. Chris Mazzella tied the game at on with a power play goal at the 7:52 mark in the first. The first period would end in a 2 to 2 tie with Alex Whelan scoring at the 13:20 mark in the first with assists from Hunter Garlasco and Dylan Stephanik. Nick Botta would score his first of a two goal game in the second with assists from Kyle Hallbauer and Dylan Stephanik. The second period would end with the Hitmen having a one goal lead. The Hitmen offense would explode in the third period with three unanswered goals by Dylan Stephanik, Nick Botta and Kyle Hallbauer. Team defense was stellar in the third and the Hitmen would again beat arch-rival Team Comcast 6 to 2 in USPHL league play.

The Hitmen 18U team head north to Massachusetts this weekend to the Islanders Showcase to play three USPHL league games. Friday vs. the Bay State Breakers @ 3:35 PM, Saturday vs. IHC @ 12:20 PM and Saturday vs. South Shore Kings @ 9PM.
