September 20th – The Jersey Hitmen 18U team remain undefeated in league play with a victory over the Portland Pirates at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, MA with 5 to 0 win. Goaltender Tyler Harmon stopped all 13 shots he faced for the shut-out. Danny Reidel broke open the scoring at the 2:19 mark of the first with assists by Todd Goehring and Connor Tierney. Kyle Hallbauer would score the second goal of the game with a perfectly timed pick off of a Portland pass in center zone and blast home a shot from the top of the circle. Connor Tierney would score the first of his two goal output at the 5:01 mark of the third. His second goal would come at the 8:11 mark. Mike Jordan would close out the game with the 5th and final Hitmen goal with an assist by Casey DeLorenzo.

The Hitmen 18U team will host our USPHL rival Team Comcast this Friday, September 26th @ 7 PM at the Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ. On Saturday, September 27th, the team will make the trip south down the NJ Turnpike to play Team Comcast @ the Flyers Skate Zone @ 12:40 PM.
