Wayne, NJ - The last time that the Jersey Hitmen Premier lost a regulation USPHL game was Sunday November 23rd at Philadelphia. In that game the Hitmen relinquished leads in the first, second and third periods to fall to the Flyers, 7-4.

"We were humbled that day," commented coach Toby Harris.  "We are a team that prides itself on conditioning and not giving up leads. That day Philadelphia wanted it more. We gave up three leads in the game, and compiled our shortcomings by giving up five 3rd period goals. That kick in the shorts is exactly what these guys needed going into a long 8 day Thanksgiving break. I truly believe that game has turned our season in this direction." Harris continued, "Since coming back from the holiday season, we have not lost in regulation, and these guys are dialed in."

The only other blemish on the Hitmen record in 2015 is a 1-0 OT loss versus an equally hot, PAL Jr. Islanders team. Currently, the Hitmen are riding a 21 game regulation unbeaten streak and they are 23-1-1 in their last 25 USPHL contests. This weekend the Hitmen conclude the regular season with a two game set versus the Springfield Jr. Pics. Game one of the series is slated for 6pm Saturday night at the Ice Vault. On Sunday, the Hitmen finish the regular season with puck drop coming at 12:45pm. Both games will be broadcast at www.fasthockey.com
