In November 2014, the Ice Vault held its fifth annual “Hockey Fights Hunger” loose change collection to benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
When the bags and bags of change where finally all counted, we raised $6,000.00 in donations to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey!   As an added bonus this year, the Food Bank had an anonymous donor who agreed to match our donation dollar for dollar.  So this year’s total donation from “Hockey Fights Hunger” is an amazing $12,000.00.  This brings our 5 year total to $45,000.00.

The NJ Bandits PeeWee Black team, who raised over $650.00 on their own was invited to Sunday's Hitmen game to present the Community Food Bank a check for $6,000!  They raised this money with a goalie challenge and are this year’s winner of the “team competition”.  Congratulations PeeWee Black!

We ARE hockey families…we CAN fight anything.
Thank you all for your support.
