Over the last 7 USPHL league games, the 2015-2016 18U Jersey Hitmen have provided further evidence to support why they belong at the top of the USPHL South with a league leading 34 points.
The Hitmen have compiled a 6-1 record netting 32 goals during this stretch while holding their opponents to an average of less than 2 goals a game. The goaltending tandem of Tyler Harmon and Alexi Masenko have continued to frustrate the league’s goal scorers and the defense has been led by Kyle Hallbauer and Ryan Bogan each a +5 during these 7 games.

The Hitmen have been receiving contributions from all four forward lines during this stretch of games highlighted by Conor Tierney and Danny Reidel each putting up 11 points (3G 8A). Rob Clerc (4G 6A 10Pts) and Alex Borowiec (3G 4A 7Pts) further buttressed the Hitmen’s offense with their strong play below the hashmarks. This weekend the Hitmen travel to Stockdale Arena to play two against Division opponent and last year’s USPHL playoff finalist, Selects Academy.

Congratulations to this year’s All Star selections, (F) Rob Clerc, Alex Borowiec, Tom Terranova and Danny Reidel, (D) Brandon O’Callahan, Kyle Hallbauer and Eric Manoukian and (G) Tyler Harmon. This group of 8 will be competing in the USPHL’s first annual 18U “Young Gun Classic” held at the Volpe Athletic Complex located on the campus of Merrimack College in Andover, Massachusetts.
