The Hitmen and USPHL are proud to announce the selection of five alumni in the 2016 National Hockey League Entry Draft.

Joe Masonius, the 181st overall pick, split time between the Jersey Hitmen USP3 and Premier teams in the 2012-13 season before joining the National Team Development Program. He will be a sophomore at University of Connecticut this season.

According to the Pittsburgh Penguins web site, "This is the second-straight year Masonius will be attending camp, as the University of Connecticut product attended last year as an amateur tryout."

Joe Masonius was here for #Pens development camp last year and now he's here to stay!
