College Scouts Excited for USPHL Midget Showcase in Philadelphia

Voorhees, NJ (January 4, 2017)- The USPHL Philadelphia Midget Showcase is set to begin on Saturday, January 28 at the Flyers Skate Zone arenas in Voorhees and Pennsauken, NJ. The event will feature league games from the 18-and-under and 16-and-under divisions.
 
The 18U slate consists of the Connecticut Jr. Rangers, CP Dynamo, Islanders Hockey Club, Jersey Hitmen, Jersey Shore Whalers, Junior Bruins, New Jersey Rockets, PAL Jr. Islanders, Rochester Monarchs, Skipjacks Hockey Club, South Shore Kings, Springfield Pics, and Syracuse Stars.
 
The 16U field will feature the Connecticut Jr. Rangers, CP Dynamo, Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, Islanders Hockey Club, Jersey Hitmen, Jersey Shore Whalers, Junior Bruins, New Jersey Rockets, PAL Jr. Islanders, Potomac Patriots, Rochester Monarchs, Skipjacks Hockey Club, South Shore Kings, Springfield Pics, and Syracuse Stars.
 
A total of 41 games across the two divisions will be played.
 
“The USPHL Philadelphia Midget Showcase will serve as an incredible chance for the up and coming hockey stars of the USPHL to play in front of fans and most importantly scouts and collegiate coaches from all over the country,” stated Deputy Commissioner Leigh Dean. “The teams and players will be looking to grab valuable league points in the last showcase involving the midget teams before the playoffs.”
 
Games will be played primarily at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, with some occurring at the Virtua Health Flyers Skate Zone in Pennsauken. For more information, including a full schedule, please visit USPHL.com.
