Christians and Waechter Commit to Concordia University Ann Arbor

Wayne, NJ - The Jersey Hitmen are pleased to announce forwards Abel Christians and Tristan Waechter  commit to Concordia University Ann Arbor in the NAIA and the Wolverine-Hoosier Conference. 

Abel Christians

Abel Christians, '98 from Grand Rapids MI, scored 14 goals and added 19 assists for 33 points in 42 games. Concordia is getting a power forward that brings work ethic, leadership along with a high level of skill that can play in all situations. 

Tristan Waechter

Tristan Waechter '97 from Fairfield, CA scored 5 goals and added 10 assists in 43 games. Tristan is a skilled forward who transformed his game over the course of the season into a two-way player.  Tristan became one of the team's best shot blockers on the penalty kill, in addition to being a shootout specialist going 3 for 3 on the year.

Concordia Ann Arbor is led by head coach Ben Kenyon.  The Concordia men's ice hockey team will join current Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) members Aquinas College, Indiana Institute of Technology and Lawrence Technological University in addition to Life University, Lindenwood University – Belleville, and Waldorf University in the ACHA's NAIA division for the 2018-2019 season.
