The Hitmen 15u team held on to first place with a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Hockey Club on Saturday night at the Ice Vault. After jumping out to a 2-0 lead early in the first period, PHC fought back and eventually tied the game late in the third. The Hitmen immediately responded with a PP goal and held on to the lead with some real good defensive play and goaltending. Thor Hansen had a hat trick and Jack Noel added the other goal. Tommy Gilligan had three assists in the victory. Michael Bussanich was very solid in net earning the victory for his team. The win was crucial as the Hitmen now have the season series lead 2-1 over the PHC. This may be crucial in the end to determine seedings in the division.
