    2016 - 2017 Rosters Announced

    Wayne, NJ - After an intense week of tryouts at the Ice Vault Arena, the Jersey Hitmen have selected the players for the upcoming 2016 - 2017 season for the teams listed below.

    Toskos named Head Coach of Hitmen Pee Wee Minor Team

    Hitmen are excited to announce that Greg Toskos will be coaching the Hitmen Pee Wee Minor 05 team for the 2016/17 Season.  Coach Toskos, currently head coach at Don Bosco Prep, has been coaching youth hockey for the past 15 years.  The Hitmen Pee Wee Minor team will be competing in the USPHL High Performance Youth Division.

    Coach Toskos has led the Ironmen Hockey Program since the 2006-2007 season.  In that time, the Ironmen have won five County Championships, two TK Cups, two Ice Vault Holiday Cups and a Gordon Conference Championship.  He has led the team to a #1 state ranking twice, three top 5 state rankings and in 2013, the school’s second ever NJSIAA State Finals appearance. The Ironmen regularly compete against some of the top programs in the Northeast, traveling to Boston, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.  Recently, Coach Toskos passed the 100 career wins mark at Don Bosco Prep.

    Prior to taking over the Ironmen, Coach Toskos coached with the NJ Bandits Organization, the North Jersey Avalanche, Garden State Games and Chicago Showcase.

    As a player, Coach Toskos is the all-time leading scorer at Don Bosco Prep totaling 128 goals, 97 assists for 225 points.  He led the 1994 team to the school’s first ever NJSIAA State Finals appearance which earned him the 1994 New Jersey High School Player of the Year Award.

    Upon graduation from Don Bosco, Coach Toskos played a post graduate year at Canterbury Prep before heading to NCAA Division III powerhouse Babson College where he was a four year varsity letter winner.

    Hitmen USP3 Heading to Finals in Beantown

    After a crippling loss at the hands of the Junior Bruins on Sunday morning, the Hitmen rallied their spirits and defeated the Jersey Shore Whalers 4-2 to advance to the USP3HL Championship round in Marlborough next week.
