The NJ Hitmen 12u Minor team captured the crown at the Tier 1 Faceoff at the Pilgrim Arena in Quincy Mass this Labor Day weekend. After a 3-7 opening game loss to the NJ Rockets they ran off 3 straight in the opening round with wins against the Islanders Hockey Club 8-1, the Baystate Breakers 6-1 and South Shore Kings 3-2 earning the number seed. In the Semi Finals they avenged their 1st round loss by defeating the Rockets 4-2 and in the Finals met the number 2 seed Top Gun where they jumped out early and never looked back with a 4-0 capturing the championship. Team finished with a record of 5-1 scoring 28 while giving up 13.
